Loved this hotel, just come back from a 4 night stay here. Perfectly close to efteling, but far enough away that you don't get visitors walking past loudly. Being above a supermarket is really helpful also. The room was very nice but lacked any space to put clothes, we only had 5 hangers in a room that could've accommodated 5 people, no drawers in the room either. I'll definitely be returning but a few things to bear in mind for next time with clothes and taking a travel kettle as there isn't one in the room.

So deeply wanted to love this place. The good- friendly staff and things are clean. The bad- the restaurant food is totally unacceptable: all 3 dishes were clearly frozen reheats and expensive. Also, the hotel shower is so bad is comical: the shower is just a shower head in your bathroom, and when you’re done showering, they give you a squeegee to push the water from the entire bathroom into the shower drain. It’s, wild. Also, no refrigerator in room (despite the hole for one to go and the hotel being so kid friendly). Really quite disappointed.

After going to Efteling (one of the world’s oldest theme park), we decided to stay a night at @guesthouse_hotel instead of making the two-hour journey back to Amsterdam. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the theme park.As for the room and decor, everything is new and nice. Plenty of space for luggage and even thoughtful ideas like having a ledge under charging ports to put your electronic devices. The washroom is quite simple, wished there were more hooks or areas to hang clothes or put toiletries.The hotel comes with an in-house restaurant and is next to a supermarket. We weren’t really fans of the food, quite bland, had to season it with salt and pepper.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Modern, clean and has a nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Very close to Efteling - 10 minute walk away. Also a supermarket at the back of the property - 1 min walk.If you are cycling, they allow you to use an outside, covered bike shelter. This requires a code to enter so feels fairly safe.On-site food options are good with the Foodbar downstairs serving great food - we really enjoyed the salads. The bar food upstairs is OK, but I’d recommend that they do a few more non-fried things for variety.Rooms themselves are nice - the decor is interesting looking, if a little unfunctional. We would have preferred a double bed over two singles, but that’s a minor point.Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

The hotel had a modern feel with some well set out rooms and a lovely bar area. The location is great for visiting Efteling, especially with a free car park. The bathroom could have been given a better clean and the TV didn't pick up any signal but it wouldn't put us off staying again

Staff was definitely not friendly at all. The person who checked us in was the only friendly staff member(morning shift) The snack bar, the downstairs kitchen staff was quick to turn you away . We walked in asking for a table the lady was happy to go check but the guy behind the bar was quickly to tell her NO. Thinking I wouldn't understand what they were saying. Overall, this place is great ! Super trendy , good location if you are planning to go to Efteling. Kid friendly and they will be running around, yelling, going up and down the elevator so if you don't care for that not a place for you. We would definitely stay again but definitely not be dealing with any of the staff members(check in and do and get everything you need at the store right next door!!) I do not recommend breakfast as it was only eggs, bacon , 4 different types of breads, apples, two different types of cereal for 14€. Otherwise, it is a super nice place to just crash for a night or two. Also, dry nachos not worth it.

The room is excellent for a 4 persons family. The decoration is very modern and the room size is good. We also requested a baby bed and it was included in the room. The breakfast was ok. There is a big supermarket behind the hotel so it helps alot!

Great space, with activities to do with the kids, right next to an Albert Heijn as well. Breakfast was okay. There's also free parking which is great if you are traveling with kids and luggages. Overall highly recommend.

This has become our regular Efteling hotel!The rooms are always tidy and the beds sleep wonderfully (for me). The only reason I give 4 stars for the room is because I miss a bath, but that's completely personal. :)

Very modern guesthouse with spacious rooms and laundry facilities on site. Free parking available to the rear and close to local amenities like bakeries and supermarkets.The biggest bonus is the proximity to efteling rich you can walk in less than 15 minutes.Would definitely consider booking here again next time an efteling visit is planned.

Good, but not very good. Nice and generally clean hotel, nevertheless in room 165 were some insects. Room size and equipment is OK, but I have a gentle sleep and through the window from road side, especially early in the morning are well heard some noisy cars and motors. For me it is finish of sleep from 6 am the latest.Restaurant is good but you need to be pacient. I was 4 evenings day by day and 1h is minimum time which you need to wait for dinner. Breakfast for me is the weekest point od this hotel. Every day exactly the same products, almost no vegetables, only yellow cheese, ham average quality, yogurts with artificial taste. I was not hungry, but after 4 days I was misissing for something different.Hotel service very kind and helpful.

Stayed over here for the evening before a day trip to Eftling. Ideal location and decent package deal for the room and tickets. We had a larger room which could sleep 6 people across what could have been 2 doubles/4 twins, plus a set of bunk beds. Room was spacious with decent wet room style bathroom. There were drying facilities in the main hall which could be used during more sociable hours to dry clothing.We didn't have the breakfast but did have an evening meal. Arrived around 2115 and asked if food still available. We were advised the kitchen should be closing at 2130 but they called to check and make sure the kitchen could.accomodate with us being there so late. Not an issue and they let us eat in the bar space upstairs after the main restaurant area closed. Bare available until 11 too which was handy.Staff we're all really friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my Dutch is next to non-existent but this didn't matter as the staff flawlessly switched and even translated menus for us. Really good service and would definitely recommend for those visiting Eftling and looking for somewhere nice and reasonably priced to stay.

Great accommodation near Efteling. Especially recommended for families or groups. The beds are amazing and can be extended to fit up to 6 people in one room.The restaurant was a major disappointment for dinner and breakfast. Quite low quality and really unhealthy selection for breakfast.

Amazing hotel 5 mins walk to Efteling free parking! Rooms are really comfy air con in guest house, nice bathroom. You will get a good nights sleep. Amazing hotel a go to when visiting Netherlands!

Perfect for visiting Efteling. Very close. Free parking (although we didn't bring a car), we also stayed at bosrijk hotel on site and I think the guesthouse was actually closer! Friendly and helpful staff. Free to use washing machine and tumble dryer.

Mooi, fris en modern hotel, kindvriendelijk en smaakvol ingericht.We hebben hier 1 nacht overnacht en dit was erg fijn. Leuke en aardige ontvangst door het personeel. Fijn dat er een waterkoker op de kamer staat, en de Efteling ligt zeer kortbij ( wandelafstand).Onze opmerking mbt het ontbijt werd positief opgepakt en opgelost. Very nice modern family hotel . Very close to the Efteling and for this reason we have chosen it . Very comfortable beds even if I asked a double bed and we found twin beds . The bathroom is pretty simple and it was nice to have some more details in it . Very friendly staff, we had a super quick check in adding breakfast and late check out . We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good also there friendly staff and a nice menu with a little bit everything . The breakfast nothing special but the yogurt was very nice, I took note of the brand 👏 . I can definitely recommend it !

We will never stay this hotel because last day , we leave our stuffs in lobby and one of our bag was taken . We realised within 10 minutes and asked reception to help to check camera records but they did not want to help and nobody want to help , especially Simone from front desk was very rude, her attitude was very impolite and she told only 1 camera which survey reception are is working and rest does not which shows that hotel has serious security problems especially if you are staying with kids.Duty manager was not there and refused to talk with us in order to help us, no actions. Hotel stuff is not well trained and professional, terrible service

We thought it was a family/child friendly hotel until we were told off during our birthday meal to turn off our kids tablets as they were too loud. We thought they weren't. We did as we were told and immediately left.We asked the restaurant for a bowl to take to our room. Pity it was the same lady from the day before who told us no. We were also told that the ice cream we had bought the kids down the road could only be consumed in our hotel room not in the lounge area.I would have highly rated this place as we genuinely enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and the staff at reception were always helpful and friendly. We had a large room that could fit six. The kids loved the bunkbeds. Washing machine and dryer available, bonus. Location is perfect ten minutes walk to Efteling and the supermarket is round the corner from the hotel.Customer service let this convenient and tidy guesthouse down.

Fyi: Free laundry!We did one night at in-park efteling loonschland and one night here. The reviews are correct that the walk to the gate is actually closer at this hotel than the loonschland hotel! That said, I don't regret staying at loonschland as well because it was a great way to really feel immersed!This hotel is super clean and unique as it has some personality. We had the six bunk room for the 4 of us and it was spacious.The hotel has a very happenin' restaurant and bar. The kids ate at the restaurant and it was fine too.Supermarket around the corner is open til 10.But what I really came here to say is that our floor has free laundry machines available (diy) and I really appreciate it and that's why I came on here to leave a positive review. Thank you!!!! Laundry was much needed and made my day as it was zero hassle!!! :):)

Derde keer dat we hier naar toe kwamen! Derde keer topervaring. Wie een weekendje Efteling en/of Beekse Bergen wil plannen zit met dit hotel gebeiteld. Het ontvangst is steeds hartelijk. De kamers zijn netjes en kindvriendelijk, het ontbijt is ruim en verzorgd. Wie wil kan upgraden voor een lunchpakket aan €8,5 per persoon. In dat geval kan je na het onbijt je eigen lunch samenstellen qua smaak en hoeveelheid. Enig minpuntje is dat je voor iedereen dient bij te betalen en je niet enkele personen kunt upgraden. Onze twee-jarigen die deze keer mee waren eten dit niet waardoor we er voor kozen om 's ochtends vroeg naar AH (zelfde gebouw van het hotel open 7-22u) te gaan en daar onze lunch voor het park aan te kopen. Het avondeten is degelijk maar naar mijn persoonlijke mening prijs kwaliteit te duur... Wow what a hotel. Beautiful design. Comfortable beds. Great facilities including roomy shower. Amazing staff who helped us with mobility questions and helped accommodate us. Best hotel I have ever been to so impressed. 5 min walk to efteling. Didn’t want to leave. Thank u so much will be staying here again that’s for sure :)

We stayed just one night before heading to Bosrijk Village Efteling... The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was clean and modern and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Guesthouse Kaatsheuvel, we look forward to coming back.
