INDIANAPOLIS (July 9, 2024) — The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a warning for potential short-lived tornadoes as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl move through the area today. The greatest threat is expected to be south of Interstate 70, where there is a 5% to 9% chance of a tornado occurring within 25 miles of any point.
